Welcome! I’m Fernanda Garduza, a ballet teacher and dancer based in New York City.

I truly believe ballet is for everybody. Whether you grew up dancing, are coming back to ballet after some time away, or are discovering it for the first time, I want to help you better understand your technique and feel more confident in your dancing.

I’ve always been very curious about the why behind ballet technique. Why does a correction work for one dancer but not another? How can we understand what our body is doing instead of simply trying to copy a shape? That curiosity is a big part of the way I teach.

Private sessions give us the time to slow down, ask questions, and really focus on what you want to work on. My goal is for you to leave with a better understanding of your dancing and tools you can take with you into your regular classes.

I am an ABT® Certified Teacher in Pre-Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum, and I currently teach children, adults, and older adults throughout Brooklyn and New Jersey.
